The American electorate have turned their televisions off . They don't want to be bothered with a bunch of  ads. Especially those living in "swing states" who are currently being bombarded with tons of political ads. They just don't want to hear about politics right now . They want to swim in the pool. They want to soak in some rays. They want to drop the kids off at Grand Ma's house so they can "steal away" for some quiet time. They want to go to the Water Parks or go Sailing. They want to  lay in a hammock and read a real good book; ahem (Fire Breathing Liberal By: Rep. Robert Wexler) ahem * cough* . They just want to relax and ease their minds because they know Summer will be cut short this year for, as soon as the Democratic Convention takes place at the end of August , Summer is pretty much over.

But right now, they don't want to be bothered. Don't ask them for donations right now. They're spending it at Disney Land. Volunteer to make calls ? Pffft! They're going Fishing. Canvass in a neighborhood ? The only door to door outreach they plan on doing is at the Mall. Instead of handing out pamphlets , they will be handing out cash and credit cards to the vendors. And while all these activities are enough to make a die-hard, political junkie, party activists blood boil, they are still gonna go it. Yep, against our wishes. LOL. But , don't worry party activists. While we sweat , and toil all Summer long trying to make America a better place for them , they will come to appreciate our sacrifice. And then, we'll get to have our vacation .
